A user asked for a list of processes run with ControlUp EdgeDX and suggested whitelisting a path for updated executables. Security teams requested more information. Further guidance and resources can be found at edgedx-functions.azurewebsites.net and support.controlup.com.

Can someone list all of the processes (exe’s and services) run with EdgeDX?
We noticed issues when rolling the agent out to devices that have certain security agents and we need to exclude processes and services from the monitoring. TIA.

@member are you not able to whitelist a path? The reason I ask is that if you just whitelist individual executables (assuming via hash), when the agent is updated, those hashes will become invalid.
Many of our customers in this situation simply whitelist the paths.
We will most likely be whitelisting the path but our security teams would like to look into this more and requested this information.
I just want to confirm the paths that are needed to exclude for EdgeDX. I think I have them covered but I don’t want to assume. Appreciate the help.
