The user asked for an explanation of the Desktop Load Time parameter in CU Insights for Citrix VDI environments – this is the average duration of the desktop initialization phase, including the Active Setup phase if it is the first time a user logs on to a Windows computer. The user also asked what can affect the duration and if any methods are available to fight the parameter and make the Logon Duration Score lower. Further information is available at https://support.controlup.com/docs/logon-duration-report and https://www.controlup.com/resources/blog/entry/troubleshoot-and-speed-up-windows-logons-in-desktop-virtualization-environments/.

Hi,
Could someone please explain to me what specifically is meant by the "Desktop Load Time" parameter in ControlUp Insights for Citrix VDI environments ?
What is included in it, is there any way to influence the times specified in the historical data in CU Insights to be shorter ?
Thank you in advance for your help!

Does this help?
@member And what can affect the duration of desktop initialisation ? Anyone tried to fight this parameter, which unfortunately makes up the high Logon duration score ?
Maybe the active setup phase?
