Quick question are people using Powershell 7 or what version are you guys using? i’m used version 5 and finding thinks have change in version 7
Still using PowerShell 5, since PowerShell 7 doesn’t have a ISE editor which will never come. I don’t like Visual Studio Code.
Getting used to Visual Studio Code. Just wondering if the standard practice is 5 or 7 these days
just my script for writing to the windows event logs is not supported in windows 7 and trying to figure it out
ISE is the worst thing ever, I have seen variables staying intact even after reboots causing false positives or weird issues on scripts.
And depending on the goal I try to use ps7 these days. If it has to be a CU script action sadly thats not possible yet
Ohh didn’t know that 😞 on the CU side.
