Upgrading from ControlUp Scout Version 1 to 2

A user asked about a silent installation of the Scout app and if the Hive settings will be preserved when upgrading from version 1 to 2. It was confirmed that the Scout configuration will not be affected by the Hive upgrade.

Scout install – is there a silent install.

I believe /verysilent would work, however there is no way to configure hive settings through silent installation, so you would still need to do the config steps like connecting to your account using the hive key etc. So it’s really only useful for hive upgrades

And I assume you meant Hive install?

But i want to update the currect five from version 1 to 2 , it should keep the config ?

The scout configuration will not be affected by the hive upgrade.
