A user encountered an issue when attempting to install Monitor Service on their RTC server. Upon clicking "Remove", a "Redeploy" option appeared instead. The solution was to remove the service and re-add it using the powershell command located at https://support.controlup.com/v1/docs/90-powershell-cmdlets#import-cmdlets.

Have a fun issue, Tried to install Monitor Service on the RTC server, but it failed kind of. Shows errored and says "Redeploy" but have no option to remove only remove or start. If you start it fails.
Redeploy implies that the monitor service doesn’t exist on the remote computer. Easiest way to resolve is to probably remove from the console and re-add it. Re-adding should push the monitor service
If you try to remove it fails.
Does the controlup monitor service exist on that machine?
Do the files exist in c:\Program Files\Smart-X\ControlUpMonitor\Version 9.0.0.1675\
Where 9.0.0.1675 is the version you’re running
No it does not.
Clicking Remove, it goes to warning, with no data, then switches to redeploy.
And no, there is no monitor install.
Is there a manual deploy method?
You can deploy via powershell.

Thank you that worked, had to force remove and then install.
