Members of the ControlUp team discussed an issue with the Web login for version 9.0.5, in which they were getting logged out after 24 hours despite setting the R/T console to 14 days. They questioned whether using SAML would change the session timeout, and another member suggested trying to rename the ControlUp folder in the roaming appdata in the profile.

Hi – With 9.0.5 and the Web login we found that we get logged out at 24 hours even after setting the R/T console to 14 days. When the timer expires it closes all your work and everything we had open. Since we login to the console in the morning usually we are finding ourselves getting logged our with an open trigger or script edit at really inconvenient times. Is there anyway we can force the 14 days of having the R/T console open? If we use SAML does it default to the 24 hours session time out instead of the R/T setting?
@member The times outs are set in DEX portal
web console max 24 hours and RTX console is max 14 days
That is how we set it, but for some reason we get timed out at 24 hours with the WebLogin. Perhaps this is a Break fix rather than a how to😀.
yes the web console – Dex portal is time out max 24 hours (web log in)
the old legacy console 14 days max
I could have been more clear initially, I edited that post. We have the it set the same as above, but for some reason the we get timed out of the R/T Console at 24 hours.
Try rename the ControlUp folder in the roaming appdata in your profile and test again
