A user asked for advice on deploying the ControlUp agent to a MacOS device using Workspace ONE UEM. Another user offered to check with the macOS agent development team for insights and asked for screenshots as well. The first user also clarified that they are looking for a correct plist file and suggested that scripting may not be needed. The conversation ended with the second user requesting to keep the screenshots. No resolution was provided yet.

Has anyone deployed the agent to a macos device using Workspace ONE UEM? When we create the plist file, the content is weird. I’d hate to have to deploy a file and then script the rest of the install commands (mount, install, unmount, remove).
is the plist the same as the mobileconfig ?
I personally have not done this through WS1.
Let me check internally with our macos agent dev team to see if they can share any insights
@member, I have a bunch of screenshots of the console and what’s weird in it if that helps?
@member do you need help with a script to mount install and unmount ?
No, I got that from the site, but I would hate to have to use it hehe. If applications provide a correct plist file, there’s no need for scripting besides the actual installation command.
But thanks!
Hans, let me see what I can find out internally first. But don’t throw the screenshots out, we might need them later
I’ll keep them safe 🙂
