Connecting Nutanix AHV to ControlUp

How are the credentials saved on ControlUp Scoutbees for a published App/Desktop scout?
Credentials for Apps/Desktops on Scoutbees are encrypted either in a database or with AWS-vault, depending on whether the Scout is running on a cloud hive or a custom hive. Investigating Unusual Behavior on ControlUp VDI’s
ControlUp experienced weird issues in their environment, where VDI's were ignoring all policies and scanning their drive. Microsoft Defender Engine 4.8.2210.6 was identified as the cause and a rebuild was done using the latest 4.8.2211.5 engine to fix it. Other users were asked if they have experienced a similar issue. It was further clarified that the engine was not supposed to be scanning the drives but the process itself was pulling data from the PVS server. Investigations found that most systems couldn't give the version of the process and the instances that did didn't show any spike in I/O.

Running a ControlUp Automated Action fails with EventID 5005
A user experienced an error when running an automated action with EventID 5005 due to UAC being enabled. The user then ran the action as a specific user that had rights to start VMs in vCentral, and it was suggested that the action could be run from a Monitor server instead. Any logs can be shared by opening a ticket or in private with support. ControlUp has a log4net script action available to investigate this issue further. The registry key EnableLUA will be read if the script is set to "controlup console/monitor".

Combining Remote Display Analyzer and ControlUp

Finding Out About SSO Integration for ControlUp Products

Issues Adding Citrix Cloud Connection with ControlUp 8.7
A user reported they were unable to add a Citrix cloud connection to ControlUp 8.7 - the shared credentials needed were only present in the console where the connection was initially added. Suggestions of renaming AppData, clearing cache, and checking for a network/proxy/AV issue were made.
