A user was running the Analyze BSOD minidumps script as System instead of SIP service start, and it was successful the first time and then stopped working. It was recommended to delete some data in HKLM and to empty the data index unless it was changed. The user also wanted the script to write to an index and device events, and was informed that these were not mutually exclusive.

Adding Entra ID Joined Machines to Control Up
It is possible to add Entra ID Joined machines to Control Up with a DNS record or via the Cloud Connection Sync Script, which adds all machines in an Azure subscription. Setting an Alert for MS Teams Crashes
A user asked about setting an alert for MS Teams crashes. They tried various settings and changed the operators to “contains.” Another user suggested that the number of hits and platform should be set to 600, 1, 3600 and “all platforms” respectively. After that, the user was able to set the alert. However, the user suggested analyzing data first to avoid false positives. Lastly, the user asked if it was possible to exclude certain errors from the alert description. To solve the issue, they want to run a clear Teams cache script in the event of a real crash.

Troubleshooting Script Execution Issues on Windows Server 2022 with ControlUp

Possible problems were discussed, such as GPO settings, the account the script is running under, and if a signature was needed. A user asked for examples of using Realtime DX's Rest action to send messages to MSFT Teams via the Graph API. Updates to ControlUp API Documentation – Querying List of Scripts
A user asked if the ControlUp API documentation had been updated, to allow for querying the names and IDs of scripts. Examples of running scripts using the API key were given, as well as the endpoint URL for accessing a list of all scripts. The user asked for a script that gets the script ID from the name, however this was not available. The example of performing a GET request against the provided URL was provided.
