A user asked if anyone else has experience using Citrix DaaS and FSLogix with ControlUp. They are not seeing any FSLogix data in the Console and have questions about the System Process showing a lot of disk writes. Another user shared their experience with FSLogix and ControlUp, mentioning that their data started showing right away and they do not run a Windows OS for CIF shares. The first user thanks the second for their input and mentions an issue with Crowdstrike using CPU when the Windows firewall is on.

Good morning. We are still on our POC and I have a mix of a support question (if I should email support directly, please let me know) and also a general, "is anyone else doing this."
We are using Citrix Daas to publish Server 2019 Desktops. The desktops have FSlogix installed. The file share is on a physical Windows 2019 server. We have ControlUP installed on the Windows 2019 servers where we publish the desktop. We don’t have it on the file share (should we?). Inside the Console, we do not see any FSLogix data and we are not sure why (thats the support question). The other question is, for those of you using FSLogix, do you see ControlUP saying that the System process is doing a lot of disk writes? We are seeing this and the only thing we can think of it that its FSLogix. Thank you.
We just implemented CU and we also use FSlogix. Our data started showing for FSLogix disks right away. We do not run a Windows OS for our CIFs shares, so CU is not located there. Couldn’t tell you why yours isn’t showing up, but I’m sure someone here can help. We also are seeing some stress with the System process…. mainly Disk Write/ProcessIO, but our stress levels are still at default, so still determining if this is normal for us or not. When viewing the FSLogix performance, we are seeing no stress at all, so it doesn’t appear to be related to the system process stress. We only use FSlogix for office containers, not profiles.
Thank you Terry. Our stress levels are also at default and we are seeing the same as you in regards to the System Process and Disk Write/ProcessIO. We have an issue with Crowdstrike using a lot of System Process CPU (12-15%) when the windows firewall is on. When we disable it, it drops to around 5-7% (working with their support now to determine why). We noticed that right before we started the POC with ControlUP and then found the Disk Write showing up and the only thing I can think of is FSLogix since I am not seeing the Disk Write on a standalone server and that server does not have FSLogix installed. Appreciate your input.
