There was a discussion regarding ControlUp’s rebranding and monitoring capabilities for web servers. A user asked if the platform has the ability to monitor web servers, graph dependencies, and provide real-time alerts. Another user clarified that while ControlUp does offer synthetic testing for front end connectivity and multi-step flows, it does not offer server back end implemented RUM for web server monitoring. The user mentioned a feature called "dependencies" and another user noted that Scout Bees has a site load test that breaks down page load times and highlights potential issues.

Hey all, a bit confused with some of the rebranding and offerings now. Does controlup have the ability to monitor web servers, graph out all the dependencies, and see if there is a "break" in the chain? Real time alerting on things?
We have synthetic testing for front end connectivity which tracks load page times, time to first paint etc etc.
We also have a synthetic test for transactions that can do multi step flows.
However your description sounds like server back end implemented RUM, which is a type of web server monitoring we do not offer. Could you further elaborate on what you mean with "dependencies"
The site load test in Scout Bees does alot of this. It breaks down the page load time with all the modules in the page outlining how long each element takes to load. It doesn’t dive into the backend SQL type stuff that may be a dependency but does at least break down the page load to find issues.
