A user asked about creating scripts to start or stop Windows Services. It wasn’t working in SolVe and the user wanted to see if any examples can be shared. It was suggested to add an event log and see why it’s failing in the ControlUp Monitor. A reference link (https://www.controlup.com/script-library-posts/start-stopped-services/) was provided.

Had a question about creating a script to START or STOP Windows Services. I have been testing out Powesrhell & Command Script(cmd) Scripts in SOLVE and they are not working, Just think I am missing something really easy. Wanted to see if you guys had some examples I can try out to get this working. Any Help would be appreciated.
Hi @member, did it work when you run the script in the Real-time console? you should add as a follow-up" create and event log, and see why it is failing in the event log (of the ControlUp monitor)
If it will work in the Real-time, it should work in SolVE
good point @member. and if its not working in the RT console, please share the script here
and you can possibly use this for reference @member – https://www.controlup.com/script-library-posts/start-stopped-services/
