A user suggested adding a status indicator of “last result” in the ControlUp dashboard page that would show which scouts are down. The possible implications of having multiple hives per scout were discussed; it was suggested that a single failed hive could be denoted with a red or orange indicator. The suggestion was motivated by a real life scenario of 40 sites with the same function, 10 of which were not responding and the user not having an overview of the working ones.

It would be nice if in the overview/dashboard we can see which scouts are down (red or green), a low Uptime percentage doesn’t mean it is working now.
So basically you’re looking for a status indicator of “last result” in the dashboard page? How would you see this working if you have multiple hives per scout?
For EUC tests there’s only 1 hive per scout but other tests allows you to select multiple/all. So let’s say out of the 10 hives that were tested from, 1 fails, would it be red? Or maybe orange? Just trying to see what would be the most intuitive ?
We use 1 hive, but good question. This morning we had an issue with 40 sites with the same kind of funciton. 10 were not responding, we missed the overview of the ones working and the ones not.
