A user asked how to add users to Insights – they needed to be added to the Security policy and then launch the RTC one-time to sign up. It is recommended to give the user the "Use Solve" right in the security policy, and if a SAML is used, then there is no need for the export/import process. To get the "Manage Solve" permissions, this is found in the "Perform organization-wide actions". The "Create Solve user automatically" option in the SAML settings is not available at the moment, with no estimated time of repair.

What’s the method to add users to just Insights?
To use insights the user needs to sign up. If your on 8.7 or later they need to be added here and then launch the RTC one time to sign up.
BTW, all reports are moving to Solve so giving them the “Use Solve” right in the security policy would probably be better. If you use SAML for Solve you don’t need to do all this.
we use SAML for solve, so just export from AD and import in Solve and then they should be able to log into insights.controlup.com?
Thats the old way. If you add the attribute mappings listed in the link above you don’t need the export/import.
Where do I find “Manage Solve” permissions? (NVM, found it, see below please)
Because I don’t have the option to enable “Create Solve user automatically” in the SAML settings
I am in “ControlUp Admins”
So I should have, and verified in my Security Policy, that I have “Manage Solve” acces
Its under perform organization-wide actions.
Yup, found that. I’m logged into Solve with the account that is a member of “ControlUp Admins” which has that entitlement
Opened a case, that option is DOA at the moment. No ETA on when it’ll be repaired
