A user asked about sending an email via a SMTP server – two options were provided: go to "Settings > Monitors" and select "Monitor Settings", or use the "Send an email alert using local SMTP" action when running a trigger. Additionally, the user was advised to try sending a test message to verify the set-up worked, and was offered a screenshot from @member if needed.

Send an email via SMTP server
Can someone please help me with the steps to do this?
so we don’t have it written out extensively but what issue are you running into with setting the smtp server?
Are you talking abt the follow-up action "Send an email alert using local SMTP" when running a trigger?
Go to "Settings > Monitors" and select "Monitor Settings".
In the left side menu go to "SMTP Settings" and add one.
There is also an option to send a test message so you can verify that everything is up and running.
@member screenshot as well if needed 🙂
Thank you everyone.
