Some ControlUp users are interested in integrating CU data with their system status pages for their customer-facing products. One user mentioned creating custom HTML dashboards with data from PRTG and Splunk, and another noted that information is manually added to their internal monitoring page. A user is interested in having ControlUp integrate with status page apps and plans to check if API integration is possible.

Does anyone integrate CU data to system status page like this for any of their customer facing (or even enduser facing) products or services? https://statuscast.com/status-page-landing-page/?tm=tt&ap=gads&aaid=ada0xefPra0t1&gc[…]dghQzbSeoaOIoOmnsQpSHaFSMhkJmTA8J3OxX7Ft_K1P5y3hoC2KMQAvD_BwE
not that specific but I have used our data to create custom html dashboards for similar purposes using pswritehtml
do you tie this to your controlup monitorring or something else? https://status.controlup.com/
I believe that’s a manually updated page since the info would be coming from many places. We have our internal monitoring tools and if something is deemed critical enough we add it to that page. Sometimes it’s also a bug that can be found when using the software and that can not be found using tooling.
Oh, I thougth "Uptime over the past 90 days." was pulled from some monitor.
we have ControlUp, PRTG and Splunk and it looks like those status sites can pull from PRTG and Splunk. Was looking to see if ControlUp could integrate to status page apps like yours.
I believe you should be able to push a status there using api’s. Will check next week if someone from the team already did so.
thx! we’re just looking at products and what tie in to CU they may have if we were to purchase one.
