The head of IT reported extreme slowness of Teams in his W2019 PVS shared machines since the beginning of the week. Insights showed high latency and low protocol bandwidth in the historical data but no CPU or memory peeks were seen. It was suggested to look at real-time performance views on his machine, and consider upgrading to the latest ControlUp version 8.8 to check all FSLogix metrics.

Hello,
an intersting challenge for me this morning. 😉
The head of IT who is also testing our new FSLogix profiles (!!!) complains about extreme slowness of Teams in his W2019 PVS shared machines since the begining of this week.
His feedback is that Teams is slow, task manager is sometimes at 100% an that Sentinel One appears the first culprit (I agree with that…).
The problem is that I checked in Insights and I am not able to confirm that.
I don’t see any CPU or memory peeks, the only thing which is quite high is latency, and protocol bandwith low afer 9:05… (see attached).
Any idea ? Thanks in advance.
I see here historical data, and pretty high latency. I suggest looking on his machine using the real-time views, while the issue is occurring, maybe we have short (e.g. 5-15 seconds) CPU spikes, or other metric spikes, causing the issue. If you are running latest 8.8 version, I would also check all FSLogix metrics we recently added
Thanks, I have planned to upgrade to 8.8 next week!
