A user asked if there was a way to report the logon duration of an endpoint from sign-in to landing at the desktop, as well as a way to report the reboot time of the endpoint. The logon duration can be seen in the Edge DX ‘Logons and User Sessions’ report, while the reboot time could be reported using a custom report from the Windows Shutdown/Reboot Event IDs. The user appreciated the tip and said they would look into it.

Is there a nifty way to report how long it takes for an endpoint to reboot and see the logon duration of from sign-in to landing at the desktop? And potentially have it in a visual graph or dashboard?
logon duration is available in edge dx from the logons and user sessions report and if you click session chart it will show how this was divided
reboot time is harder but you could try to catch some of these events and build a custom report from there https://www.shellhacks.com/windows-shutdown-reboot-event-ids-get-logs/
Wonderful, completely overlooked those. I’ll see what I can do for the report. Thanks!
