A user asked if ControlUp can set a single trigger that will log out all ICA sessions at 11pm server time, across client servers in different time zones. Another user suggested using trigger schedules to enable/disable triggers during certain days/times. The first user realized that a single trigger cannot achieve their desired outcome due to different time zones. The time zone for the monitor servers is Pacific, but the client servers are in various time zones.

Hope this is the proper channel for this question…I could go about testing to find out as well, but this hopefully will be faster…
I want to notify all logged in ICA sessions across the environment that they will be logged out at 11pm server time.
We have client servers across multiple time zones. Is there a way to set a single trigger that will launch on the VDA server configured time?
What time zone does the monitor where those data sources are assigned to run?
Monitors evaluate triggers. You can use trigger schedules to disable triggers during certain (week) days and times. As long as the monitor matches the data source, a schedule should fit your use case
That’s what I figured. Basically I can’t do what I need with a single trigger. The monitor servers are all configured for Pacific, but the client servers span multiple time zones.
