Troubleshooting Analyze Logon Duration “Gap” Time with FSLogix Integration
Members discussed troubleshooting Analyze Logon Duration "Gap" time using product version 8.8 and FSLogix integration. It was suggested to use the 'Disk Mount Time' column in the console to look for any patterns among machines and certain file shares. Isolating the user to one server and running procmon with the ALD script could help narrow down 'the needle in the haystack'. This could reduce lines of code to a few 100k.

Tips for Setting Up Outlook Search with FSLogix in ControlUp
After an interesting webinar about ControlUp/FSLogix, an user asked if Office Containers in combination with Citrix UPM would be ok for setting up Outlook search with FSLogix. Finding Actual Size of FSLogix Profile .vhd in ControlUp
The user asked for a way to get the actual size of their FSlogix profile .vhd in ControlUp since disk metrics in Solve use values from Windows or FSlogix logs. Four scripts in the realtime console may have the relevant info and the "Current Size" column can display the size of the VHDX. It was then suggested to watch a webinar from yesterday and a blog which talks about the VHDX size. The Show FSLogix mounted container details SBA can show the "VHD Actual Size (MB)" field which displays the size of the VHD from the share.

The ControlUp Blog – A ‘Technical’ Wealth of Knowledge!
How to Send Messages Based on FSLogix Triggers
A user wanted to send a message to the user whose disk had low profile space using an FSLogix trigger, but the script action for this couldn't be used. Oliver suggested creating a trigger for disk space and then using a script follow-up action to find the user GUID/key, followed by a send message action. He also suggested using Powershell to get the session ID of the user and using the MSG.exe native functionality to send a message to a specific session, if multiple users were using the same machine. Dennis suggested adding a filter for FSLogix Disk Type to the Trigger filter editor, and Nicholas linked a script that is helpful for single session setup. The roadmap also includes FSLogix disks per user.

Why does ‘client NIC speed’ in Demote DX fluctuate in FSLogix support in ControlUp 8.8?
A user queried how the value 'Client NIC Speed' is calculated in ControlUp 8.8, where they use FSLogix metrics. This value is determined based on the data rate of the NIC which is expressed in bits or bytes per second, and can be accessed through the Device Manager, Command Line, or third-party software. @member then shared a Slack blog post introducing Slack GPT AI, which another user noted looked cool, and offered to open a 'test' channel for experimentation with the technology.
