ControlUp Site Load Scouts Failing from Certain Hives
There was a discussion regarding Site Load scouts failing from certain ControlUp hives. Some users reported failures in Northern Virginia and Seattle, while others had no issues in these hives. Upon further testing, Northern Virginia and Montreal started failing with the message that the resources haven't finished loading. Another user suggested opening a ticket for further investigation and mentioned that they have not heard similar reports from other customers. Troubleshooting Data Issues on ControlUp’s App Control Platform
ControlUp recently migrated to app.controlup.com and there were some issues with data not being received for certain reports under "Application Usage". It was determined that the team has not done any network modifications for the specific URL mentioned in the issue. It was suggested to check the communication ports and add them to the allow list. There was some confusion about whether the new data pipeline runs concurrently with the old method, but it was clarified that data will continue to be received via the old method until the new reports are completely migrated. The ControlUp source can provide more information. Any issues with app statistics can be directed to support@controlup.com.

Automating ControlUp Agent Installation on Azure Virtual Machines
A user asked if there is a way to automatically install ControlUp agents on Azure virtual machines. There has been discussion about this for specific Citrix environments, but the user was wondering about Azure. Another user shared a guide from the ControlUp knowledge base on deploying the MSI version of the agent. However, it was noted that using the MSI option may not automatically remove a virtual machine from the Console if the agent is uninstalled. In order for the deployment to work from the Console, certain ports may need to be unblocked. A link to the knowledge base article was also provided.
