A user asked about FIPS compliance with ControlUp, and the response was that ControlUp is likely closer to FIPS compliant but not certified. This is due to the way the registry key in Windows works, requiring only certified modules. ControlUp's security can be seen on https://www.controlup.com/controlling-your-security/, with different components in the process of certifying for FIPS 140-2. IOP being a Linux appliance, and COP being a webservice, the explanation does not directly apply to them.

ControlUp Agent and Remote DX Installation on an On-Premise Environment
A user asked about installing the ControlUp agent and Remote DX across an on-premise environment, with IGEL and Windows PCs as clients. In order to control both from the console, version 8.8 and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Smart-X\ControlUp\Console\EnableAgentManagement set to 1 are required. The Remote DX should be installed via SCCM, as per Microsoft's policy. This value is determined based on the data rate of the NIC which is expressed in bits or bytes per second, and can be accessed through the Device Manager, Command Line, or third-party software. @member then shared a Slack blog post introducing Slack GPT AI, which another user noted looked cool, and offered to open a 'test' channel for experimentation with the technology.
