Avoiding Alert Floods with Multiple Conditions in ControlUp Scoutbees
Users asked if there was any way to avoid getting flooded with alerts when setting multiple conditions in Scoutbees - one suggestion is to have the scout run every hour and have it alert after a certain number of failed tests. Although this solution is not ideal, another suggestion was to have a user vote for the request on the roadmap and ask for an update. Further, another user suggested introducing Polly for Slack polls instead. The certificate alerts provided by ControlUp are also not ideal.

Is it Possible to Track Certificate Expiry with ControlUp?

Where are ControlUp User Console Credentials Stored?
In a Slack discussion, the user asked if the username/password for a ControlUp Enterprise User Console on a custom hive is stored in the cloud. @member mentioned that the credentials are stored locally, saved encrypted in the custom hive local db file. For the Cloud hive, these credentials are stored encrypted in the AWS Key Management Service.

Investigating Logic Monitor Hack Fallout with ControlUp Endpoints Isolated
In response to the Logic Monitor Hack in a development Org, the endpoints NICs have been disconnected to isolate them from each other and the internet, which may last for a total of 5 days. To investigate potential fallout, the new DEX console has been accessed and some Scoutbees have been disabled. ControlUp Monitors will not be collecting data as all endpoints have been isolated. For edge dx devices, these will keep collecting data while offline, and will ship that out once they have connection.

Troubleshooting Connection Issues with Hive in ControlUp
The user had installed Hive on a device, but the status showed "Not Connected". After re-doing the configuration and checking the firewall, the Network team confirmed that the firewall was open and the URLs were reachable. Troubleshooting ControlUp Scout for Microsoft Teams
Rick was attempting to configure ControlUp Scout for Microsoft Teams but one of the tests was failing. They wanted to know where the hive was located and after they identified it as a custom hive on the internal network, it was suggested that it may be due to a firewall issue. As a first step, it was suggested to make sure calls can be initiated from the custom hive location.
