One of the many things I love about bringing together a bunch of excellent techies in a room is the knowledge that is created!
Just yesterday, a member posted in the ControlUp Community that they need a way to capture and report on remote employee’s network issues regularly. Within a few minutes, one of our technical rock stars responded by pointing the member in the right direction, hopefully helping them solve the problem.

Another interesting recent thread was on understanding DEX User Session Details and explaining CPU Utilization Percentage breakdowns. A discussion about the DEX User Session Details reports showing two lines on the CPU graph – 1 for computer % utilization and 1 for user %. The user was asking for clarification on what these percentages mean. Another user explained that the user % represents the portion of the CPU utilized by apps launched by the user and their desktop. At the same time, the computer % also accounts for the resources needed to keep the OS running. The discussion also touched on how these percentages are broken down on a VM with multiple CPUs assigned and the use of “host machine” in the description. Please tell me that is not cool.

These two are just the tip of the iceberg. Do you want to learn something new? Do you want to learn something you did not know you did not know? Do you have a pressing question, wish, or desire? If so, join us in the ControlUp Community and ask us anything!
