Tracking Network Performance for Users on Specific ISPs in ControlUp

A user asked if ControlUp can track network performance for users on certain ISPs, specifically MTN in JHB and CPT which have reported issues. Other users suggested building a report from the device_status table to filter for latency and ISP. Live data may also be available from this table.

I see on a few forums that MTN (ISP) is experiencing performance issues on their network in certain areas like JHB and CPT. Can we see on ControlUp how the network performance looks for users using MTN, and can we identify any market degradation?

You could probably just build a report off the device_status table looking at latency and filtered to ISP

Will also need to look at possible seeing live data

pretty sure that table has the data used to populate the latency stats on the details display so it might be reasonably close to live data
