A user was having trouble adding new roles in ControlUp and it was suggested to contact Support for assistance. It was also recommended to use a user group instead of a specific user for the role. The owner can be reset by Support if needed.

Any ideas why I don’t have the ability to add new roles? that’s my account that is the owner.
it thinks it’s not, was your account deleted by accident and recreated? No matter the answer please open a support case as they can reset it
No sir. I’m the one that stoodup CU a couple of years ago and have always had rights. let me ping them. tyvm
its always better to change tat to a user group and not a specific user. but as @member support can help they can add or change the owner from the backend

I was mistaken. CU shows someone has taken over the ownership role but this other person states they have made no changes. would this be logged somewhere?
might be up in solve auditing or DEX portal auditing
