A user asked for suggestions about an AVD deployment issue, where the agent is failing to deploy from the Console on some machines. Solutions such as ensuring Administrative Shares are enabled, and that the account running the ControlUp Console.exe has Administrator permissions on the remote machine were suggested. The Microsoft Troubleshooting page with information on Administrative Shares can be found at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-server/networking/problems-administrative-shares-missing.

Hi Guys can I get suggestions on this. We have a new AVD deployment but have a bunch of machines where the agent is failing to deploy from the Console. Not a permission thing (99% sure). The Machines are all in the same resource group and VLAN in Azure 4 of 10 machines the agent fails. went to check if it was a port issue but should not as they are in the same VLAN when I did the Test-Net connection on a problem machine and a Green Machine i got the same result
Whats the error message when deployment fails?
can you verify that:
• Admin shares are enabled? See https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-server/networking/problems-administrative-shares-missing
• The account you’re running controlupconsole.exe as, has administrator permissions on the remote machine?
Thanks
