A user asked about the configuration needed to get Ivanti data in the logon script, specifically for the ALD script. Another user suggested reposting in the appropriate channel and tagging experts. The needed configuration involves auditing specific events and enabling logging. A script is available on ControlUp’s library for easier troubleshooting. The AppSense-related logs can be analyzed using EMMon. EMMon can be found in the suite download at https://www.controlup.com/script-library-posts/ivanti-environment-manager-logging-enable/

will do i’ll move it now and this one can be deleted
You need to audit the 9662 events and a couple others to the "AppSense/Ivanti" event logs via the EM policy config.
If you really want to troubleshoot logon times for AppSense you really should enable logging and grab an ETL file. This is not usually an easy task and requires opening the image, enable logging, rolling it out, and then recreating your logon. With ControlUp you can run this script on the entire pool to enable logging, do you logon, and grab the ETL file from c:\logs to analyze it. https://www.controlup.com/script-library-posts/ivanti-environment-manager-logging-enable/
You can then throw that in EMMon and dive into the AppSense stuff. Its amazing what you’ll find.
thanks 🙂 might come back with follow up Q’s
9659, 9661, and 9662.
You’ll find EMMon as part of the EMTools64 MSI in the Software\Products folder of the suite download.
so those reg keys to be anabled i=on ech Citrix server
Yes, and the script adds them on the fly so you don’t have to open your image.
