A user was having issues setting up SAML for DEX and reached out for assistance. The ControlUp team suggested checking the Endpoint/Assertion Login URL configured in Okta, as well as ensuring the correct region is selected. The user later realized they had provided the wrong URL to their Okta admin and resolved the issue.

Setting up SAML for DEX since the setting failed to migrate properly… So we setup a new Okta application for DEX… Followed the directions as listed but getting this when attempting to login using SAML.. Thoughts on what might be the issue?
Can you check your Endpoint/Assertion Login URL configured in Okta?
It looks like Okta tried to post data to app.controlup.com/lionsgate_ent/saml.
It should be sent to https://prod-dex-login-eastus.controlup.com/api/v1/saml/assertion
Oh actually your region might be different
Thanks. Just going over the doc a bit ago and recognized that I provided my okta admin the wrong url. It’s exactly what your are saying Dennis! Thanks for your reply.
