A user asked whether it’s a bad idea to put the EdgeDX agent on servers and the Realtime agent on workstations. It was suggested not to put EdgeDX on servers as it requires internet connection, while Realtime can easily communicate with a monitor.

I have heard this is a bad idea, but want to get some feedback here. Is it bad to put the EdgeDX agent on servers? or am I confusing it that I shouldnt put the Realtime agent on workstations?
Both will work without issues, it’s just not our main use case for them
I would say don’t put edge dx on servers as they have to go out to the internet to work properly. ControlUp realtime will communicate with a monitor
