The discussion centered around upgrading to app.controlup.com and whether or not it would affect access to Insights and Solve. Some users recommended the new platform, saying it offers more features and is better overall. Others clarified that there are no changes to the real-time console or Solve, but there may be version requirements. The email with more information and links to articles was also provided.

Alright, so I was directed here for the upgrade to app.controlup.com email I received today.
So here is how we use ControlUp: We use the real-time console for most everything, and we use Insights a bit for troubleshooting. We have very little usage for Solve right now.
If we upgrade to app.controlup.com, that means Insights does not work anymore, correct? The same way we log in to Insights or Solve will still work once upgraded?
All the functionalities of Insights and Solve are present in app.controlup.com?
For your first question… upgrading to app.controlup.com will not affect your existing access to Insights or Solve.
I’m not very familiar with Insight features so someone else will have to chime in about that. But all of the features in Solve (and more) are available in app.controlup.com
Hi @member, these two links should cover all questions

i have not used insights in forever. Plus the new reports that I have seen coming to the web platform are just so much better. The app.controlup.com is much better than solve. the one thing I love about is that once i sign into I can have 3 different views open at the same time. I loved the old legacy console and elements of it i will miss but I am i have been converted after years of find solve not want I had hoped. @member try it with an open approach you will be pleasantly surprised
There was a separate email I think early last week about the new historical data interface.
But most links in that email were provided above by Yoni, so you should be good
Perfect, thanks for the information. I’m not against upgrading, I just have to presents the facts to my Team Leader so this can be prioritized accordingly.
Its not really an upgrade, that may be the wrong term. Its more enabling it as nothing is changed with the realtime console or solve.
plus access to new features and data
Just to further clarify: there are RTDX version requirements and if you are on the versions listed as prerequisite in the article, it’s as Landon indicates, just something to enable. But if you’re on older versions (that will likely be EOS), you will need to upgrade that
